This class provides an introduction to the Japanese art of erotica rope bondage (kinbaku). We will briefly explore the history of this fascinating art before exploring the physical, psychological, and emotional elements of rope bondage. Working from traditional techniques, we will offer a curriculum that teaches how to tie safely and effectively while providing a set of basic ties that you can begin using immediately.The focus of the intensive is on floor work in the style of Grandmaster Yukimura Haruki. We cover a series of one rope ties, including hands tied in front, behind the back and overhead, Yukimura’s unique hands behind the back tie, crotch rope ties, and leg ties, as well as how to combine them to create effective, intricate, and beautiful positions.Working from the most basic ties, we will show you how a few simple ties can be modified and combined in countless ways.
The goal of the intensive is to provide hands on instruction that will provide the foundation for more advance tying and techniques, while providing a basic tool box of safe and effective ties that you can use.
Cost is $150 per couple. Space is limited to 10 couples, to allow for personalized instruction and attention to each couple’s dynamic.
